Hi, I'm Valencia.
And this is where I think out loud.
I love being alone with my thoughts, but it often feels like they get the better of me. What works is having them have a soft space to land.
For the last year or two, I've written with a brief, a deadline, or an objective. This website is where I don't. It's a place for thoughts that don't need to become campaigns or content.
I want to be able to follow a thought wherever it goes, and slowly rediscover what my own voice sounds like (yes, I do think we're all slowly starting to sound like AI ourselves).
Do I know what I want this website to eventually become? No, but I quite like that I don't. There is no goal or plan. The things I write about will probably change as I do, hopefully, too. For now, it's simply a work in progress, much like the person writing it.
A place for essays, half-formed ideas that somehow sort themselves out while I'm writing, and stories I'd probably tell you over coffee if we ever met.
If you finish an essay and still feel like hanging around, you'll find a puzzle waiting for you at the end.
